We, as consumers and purchasers are entitled to know what we are ingesting without needing to make enquiries from the manufacturers. As a coeliac I understand the difficulty and frustration of needing to check every medication before use.
Even without a medical condition or allergy, consumers should have the right know every ingredient they are ingesting so they can make informed decisions on the potential risks/benefits of taking a product.
I am pleased that this is under discussion as it is long overdue.
