All food derivatives should be labelled in medicines. As a doctor and mother of a fpies child it was a nightmare not being able to clearly access information relating to excipients. It was nerve racking any time my child required a medication, with the potential for a life threatening reaction, whether prescription, over the counter or topical. I am health literate and finding accurate excipient information was impossible. Conditions such as fpies have unusual triggers such as oats, corn, and rice. In fact fpies can occur to any food. Thus I believe all food derivatives should be clear.
