Feedback on the BPAC medicinal cannabis resource for health professionals

Closed 22 Oct 2021

Opened 27 Sep 2021

Overview

In conjunction with the Ministry of Health, the Best Practice Advocacy Centre New Zealand (BPAC) is developing an educational resource on medicinal cannabis. This resource is part of the wider strategy to address concerns raised around access to information on medicinal cannabis for health professionals. This resource is not intended to be a clinical guideline for the use of medicinal cannabis in New Zealand.

The aim of this consultation is to receive feedback from you on whether the resource provides sufficient information to enable health professionals to have informed discussions with patients and their whānau. Consultation will close on Friday 22 October 2021.

The resource document will be published on the BPAC and the Ministry of Health’s website.

If you have any questions, or require more time to provide your feedback, please contact the Agency at medicinalcannabis@health.govt.nz.
