Natural health products consultation

Overview

In September 2026, the Government agreed to engage on the objectives, principles and core elements of a regulatory system for natural health products.

The Ministry of Health is now seeking feedback on the design of a future regulatory system for natural health products. No decisions have been made on the final design of the system, and your feedback will help inform future policy advice and decisions.

Your submission will be subject to requests made under the Official Information Act (even if it hasn’t been published). You can tell us if you want to have your personal details removed from any Official Information Act responses. You will be asked about this in the questions in the survey.

Commercially sensitive information

We will redact commercially sensitive information before publishing submissions or releasing them under the Official Information Act. Please indicate in your submission where commercially sensitive information is present.
